The Brotherton Bulldogs u13's were at home again this week and hosted a match vs Dewsbury Celtic. The Brotherton boys were first to score but Dewsbury responded well and look strong in attack but a an amazing performance from Brotherton in defence kept the celtics at bay. Brotherton looked strong in attack also and did some good work passing, stretching the Dewsbury side which enabled Brotherton to get 4 tries in. Tries were scored Brandon Lovell x2 Great running and tackling too got him Players MOM and Opposition MOM, Alfie Newbould got over under sticks after spotting a gap and got himself Coaches MOM for his strong running and tackling, Driver Oliver Williams-Vipurs got himself over in corner for a nice try too. Prashant Veerasamy bagged himself the Top Tackler award and his tireless efforts in defence that also got him Opposition MOM, Matthew Norton stepped up his game this week defending his wing with honour saving a possible try which netted him Sponsors MOM, Ryan Hughes got the 100%effort award after an eventful stint of driving and tackling, and this weeks Super Sub award went to Vaughn Edwards for his explosive entry to the field from the bench his efforts and impact on the field also got him Parents MOM
