match report vs Dewsbury Celtic

After the break in the holidays the Brotherton U13s were back to it this week where they played away vs Dewsbury Celtic.
It was a slow start for the Brotherton Boys and Dewsbury built up a sizeable lead as the half time whistle blew leaving Brotherton going into the second half at a 28/0 defecit.
From the get go in the second half the visiting side was in control of the game and really showed what they can do when they are focused.
Brotherton managed to get the score back to 28 but a late try in the second half for Dewsbury put them at 32.
It was a really good effort on the comeback from the Brotherton boys especially after losing 5 players over the summer so some people were put in new positions at short notice and to make a comeback the way they did is a testament to the boys in itself and proves they can achieve anything they put their mind too with the right frame of mind. Tries were scored by Prashant Veerasamy X2, Bradley Tunningley and he also got a conversion, Brandon Lovell, Brandon Cusack, Owen Robinson got 3 conversions.
