The Brotherton Bulldogs u13s played Guiseley at home this week in a friendly game and they defended their home ground well.
Having a strong defence was one of the main factors in the win as Guiseley did look stronger in attack but the Brotherton defence was too much for the visiting team and the Bulldogs came away with a 20/10 win. A hat trick of tries scored by Brandon Lovell, Prashant Veerasamy also went over for a try, and a conversion each from Owen Robinson and Callum Dibb.
Sharing the top tackle count was Oliver Williams-Vipurs and newcomer Callum Dibb making his mark in his debut at the Bulldogs.
A great performance on the wing from Vaughn Edwards stepping his game up this week keeping the opposition at bay and defending his wing very well but an overall effort from all the team in defence is what won them the day.
